I'm hangin in there like a hair in a bisquit.

Hey folks, as I continue to push forward with the move, we're getting things done and I'm trying to adhere to my meal plan. It sure has been tough though. Being in 2 places several days a week makes it difficult to keep up with the food. Having the Saints undefeated at 8-0 for the first time ever is something to celebrate as well. If it weren't for the fact that there is the threat of hurricane Ida in the gulf right now I'd think Hell was about to freeze over. Oh, and it was my birthday Saturday. I had some wonderful friends drive in from North Carolina just to help me move...and of course celebrate with me. There was plenty to eat and drink with lots to do but I'm happy to say we got (most of) it done and then some.

I'm still hovering around the 40 pound mark and I'm satisfied with that considering all that has occurred to derail me. I have a large goal of losing 10 more pounds in the next 4 weeks and I think I can manage that if I get back on the meal plan with no late-night driving and eating. As long as I was able to close the refrigerator door by 6:30pm or so and not open it again till morning I was fine. Driving to MS puts me at the house late so I'm eating later and later AND I'm around my sons snacks as well. Lots of temptation in the new house but I'm happier being there with my family.

I see DTG has returned (if only partially) to their "new" packaging. I still received some "vacu-packed meals in this shipment but the majority had the plastic just over the top opening and the label placed on that instead of on the bottom. The food is still very good, the plan is convenient and easy to follow; much like any diet though...you must commit to it. DTG has been a great tool to jump start my weight loss and I'm proof that it works if you work it. Good luck with your weight loss and check us both out on Facebook as DTG has a site or search me as; Bo Boots Walker. BTW, that's my son and me at his birthday party a week on 11-1-09.
