wow, what a month.

It's been a little over a month since we bought the new house and it wasn't until last weekend that we actually feel that we live there. It was only a week ago that the tilers finished and we were able to move furniture into the house. The tile and paint looks great but there is so much to do and so much travel involved I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all. Add to that; my mom went in the hospital again on Friday after slipping at home. She had an angiogram week before last and wasn't feeling well after being in the hospital a few days. I'm holding steady at 222 and that's still 38 pounds.

On a positive note, my food has arrived safe and sound since Diet to Go changed their packaging. The food is still awesome but I'm green beaned out. I love the proteins but and bored by the veggies sometimes. If they would send me the whole, half-chicken every night I would love it. As always, I have my favorites but it would behoove me to spend a bit more time on the phone or online tailoring the meal plan to my preference. I fully intend on sticking with the plan through the first of the year...I'm budgeted for it but with the holidays coming I may take a few weeks off. For the first time in my 46 years on the planet I plan on hosting Thanksgiving at my house. I hope it doesn't end up like Chevy Chases' Christmas Vacation but I'm really looking forward to it.

Congratulations on the new home and the 38 pounds lost. I'm glad things are going to begin slowing down for you soon. We have had the dinners for years, it's a lot of work but it's also very rewarding. My wife really enjoys it, however she really always is just working like a crazy woman but she loves it. I know there will be a time when we have to had the torch over to the kids but for now they enjoy coming home and Mom's great cooking. This will be my first major Holidays while on Diet-to-go, wish me luck. After my vacation deviation I need to stay the course. Great Work Bo, especially through everything with the move and your Mom.
